Footstools are one of the most versatile pieces of furniture for a drawing room, kitchen or even bedroom. Our range is entirely bespoke, traditionally upholstered footstool and made by talented upholsterers who can turn their hand to anything.
Our standard models come in three sizes, Small, Medium and Large, and with three types of hand-crafted legs. We have selected a simple linen in classic taupe colours for the stools to be covered in but they can have a fabric of your choice - even leather.
Any size can be made to order on request. Please contact us for any information, for fabric samples and colour choices.
Footstools have long been a way of providing fantastic extra seating space in a sitting or drawing room, or even kitchen and by a fire place. The footstools we have selected are enormously well made, long lasting and comfortable, covered in a linen-mix fabric.
We have selected some practical colours to accompany them but you are welcome to choose your own option
The stools are made to order in specially made frames, covering three sizes (S, M, L). There are also three different leg options depending whether you want a contemporary or classic look.
Since the makers do a bespoke service, the stools can also be specially commissioned to a size that suits you and with your own fabric. Just contact us if you want to query possibilities

When we first stumbled upon Hossack & Gray we immediately fell in love with their work - so much so that we bought one of their footstools for ourselves and also a sofa
They are art school trained and also served traditional upholstery apprenticeships. They discovered their love for the craft through an interest in Britain's heritage for furniture and an eagerness to restore antiques. They have a passion for British craftsmanship and for being to revitalise and breath new life into pieces that need a bit of tenderness and care
They've worked with commercial organisation such as Selfridges, Kurt Geiger and Harrods and also many leading private figures
The pair are innovative and fun with a quirky, hugely creative eye, working with old pieces to make them new as in the case of their theatre light and vintage shoe rack, or using old frames for sofas and chairs and completely re-upholstering them
They do individual bespoke pieces but they also make things from new and are one of the most professional, efficient and grounded designer makers we have come across. Please contact us if you would like to get in touch with them
